One-of-a-kind hand dyed sunrise//sunset tote.
Tote is made from 5-6 ounce vegetable leather that Crystal dyed entirely by hand to make a beautiful ombre, and black tumbled Horween Chromexcel leather, with vegetable tanned cowhide straps. Dyed leather is finished with an acrylic top coat, then oiled for durability and water resistance. Sewn entirely by hand with a saddle stitch for strength and durability.
Tote is about 10.5" wide, 12.5" tall, and 4 1/2"" deep. The straps are 5/8" wide and have about a 11" drop from the top of the straps to the top of the bag.
Leather is a natural product, and each piece we work with has a slightly different grain pattern and slight variations in color. The hand dyeing effect brings out the beauty of the leather, and showcases its grain. We carefully lay out our patterns to showcase the beauty of all parts of a hide, which results in bags that are truly one of a kind.
